Coordinate office system is a distributed software system based on advanced network. It is useful to improve work efficiency and reduce work strength and repeatability by sharing resource and exchanging information. This system emphasizes coordinate office and effective communication. This subject is a developing subject, which involves communication technology, management and action, system engineering and computer engineering. It is an interesting and active field.Office Automation described in this thesis is a coordination office system which is specially used for China Gas Turbine Establishment (CGTE). This system improves the communication and coordination of CGTE by providing communication platform, document database, automatic work flow, resources sharing and information exchange. In addition, it is increases the effectiveness and competition. At the same time it also reduces the working strength.This system employs a coordination method of"one institute two different locations"distribution. The overall frame is Browser/Server (B/S) structure. Based on Domino/Notes group technology, it is developed by using JAVA, XML technology. Server platform for system running is Windows 2000 Server; the software platform is IBM the Lotus Domino/Notes 6.5 and the database memory management platform is Lotus the Notes database.This thesis discusses the design and completion of a coordinate office system. At the same time, system construction, system implements and project management have been introduced. This system has been applied to automatic office processing of CGTE. The experience is very useful to the similar work. |
