With the continuous development of smart phones, mobile devices with smart phoneoperating system has been gradually replaced the PC to become an important tool formobile office. The android system developed by Google Company is a Linux-basedopen source system, it is scalability and can be widely applied to various fields. Itsprospects are very broad.Point inspection for production equipment in the factory production relates toproduction safety, production quality and costs, determines the profits of an enterprise,in conclusion point inspection is an important part of factory management. This paperintroduces the Android system into the point inspection for the factory management,designs and implements an equipment inspection system based on the Android system,the system will change the status quo of the factory point inspection, and improve theefficiency of point inspection. This paper based on software engineering theory,systematic elaborates the design and implementation of an equipment inspection systembased on the Android system. Firstly, this paper studies the related theory andtechnology need to use, cussing on analysis of the relevant characteristics of theAndroid system, the features of the Android system meets the requirements of theequipment inspection system. Secondly, it analyzes the status and needs of the factoryproduction, carries out a detailed architecture design, features modular design, databasedesign and interface design on this system. And then to do software development basedon the design in the Eclipse environment, using Java language and the SQLite database.Finally, according to the requirements of the software testing, it makes a detailedsoftware test. The results show that the software meets the plant needs, can be put intouse.This paper combines the factory point inspection with the Android system, designsthe factory equipment point inspection system which meets the actual needs, and usesrelated technologies to realize the system development. This system not only canpromote the informationization of the plant, but also can improve plant production andmanagement efficiency. It will open up new fields of Android application..
