The role of equipment inspection system is becoming increasingly important in the manufacturing equipment management.Meanwhile, with the development of information technology; the demand for informatization of equipment inspection management has become more sophisticated. For these, an Inspection Management System had been designed and implemented.The system,based on the integrated application of database technology, web development technology and android development technology, had realized the integration,informatization and visualization management of the inspection data and improved the efficiency of inspection work and the utilization of inspection data.Therefore,the research and development of this system has important significance.The function modules of the system were designed based on the demand information.The overall framework of the system was made grounded on layering thought and the data tables needed for the system was created. The Server was designed and implemented based on SSM framework.The client consists of web client and Android clients.The Web client mainly provided the management function of inspection plans, tasks, and data etc.The technology used in Web client featured as follows:the automatic generation of inspection task was achieved by the use of Quartz; the system utilized the Jpush service to push a message to the inspection staff according to the inspection task which is about to be execute; the record of equipment failures could be exported to Excel by the utilization of POI technology;the trend chart of inspection data was generated by JFreeChart.The Android client is mainly used to download the inspection tasks and upload the inspection data etc. The technology used in Android client implemented as follows:in order to improve the user’s experience of the Android client, the overall structure and layout of the user interface were designed according to the behavioral characteristics of the inspection staffs; for the purpose of shortening the response time of the system to the user, the pictures which are used to describe the equipment failures were acquired in the slaver threads;the client adopted Sqlite and broadcast mechanisms to make the android client working offline;the loading speed of the equipment failure cases was improved by a solution based on cache and prefetching.The Inspection Management System was basically achieved and under trial operation.The test run results has shown the rationality of the overall design of the system and the feasibility of the methods to solve problems.
