Design And Implementation Of Wirless Sensor Network Protocol Stack Based On ZigBee

ZigBee is an open international standard for wireless sensor networks with low-cost, low power, low-data-rate, low-complexity, high reliability, which has very broad application prospects on Smart Home, Industrial Automation, Network Meter Reading, Personal Care and other fields.On the basis of TI cc2430hardware platform, this paper firstly describes the design and implementation of PHY, MAC and NWK layer of ZigBee protocol from the view of technical reserch and practical application in details. Secondly a novel route handoff strategy based on network topology information is proposed and implemented. And then a ZigBee protocol stack with some function cut-off is realized. Finaly using this self-developed protocol stack, a distributed data acquisition system is designed and implemented, which verify the feasibility and correctness of the stack.The work of design and implementation of ZigBee protocol has a certain reference value for the future research and application of ZigBee wireless sensor networks.
