Tax inspection refers to the examination of tax payers, withholding duties on the part oftax payers, and withholding obligation. It includes sampling, implementation, trial andexecution. The key of informationization lies in the effective use of information resources,namely, the establishment of platform for information application, the collection andaccumulation of information, rapid circulation and processing of information, and effectiveuse and reproduction of information. The informationization of tax inspection is at the sametime a reinforcement of administration. By the co-play of tax inspection and application ofinformation technology, we can regulate tax inspection and in turn enhance transparency.With the application of tax information system software, the informationization level isgreatly raised. But comparatively speaking, the application of tax informationization lagsbehind tax collection and administration, which in turn has some negative influence on theoverall level of tax informationization.Tax inspection system uses Windows2003Server, ORACLE and Client/Server system,which boasts good reliability and expandability. Windows XP operating system is applied onthe client side. Tax inspection systems uses PowerBuilder7.0as development tools andobject.oriented programming method, and makes full use of advantages provided byPowerBuilder of inheritance, encapsulation and polymorphism. In this way, the workloadand difficulty of programming are greatly reduced.This paper includes the following points:(1) an analysis of selected data from Shannxi province, the design of data warehouse;(2) the use of Apriori in the mining of the above-mentioned data, infer from which rulesthat tells the actual tax paying;(3) using decision tree algorithm tax auditing in the classification of the selected data;(4) the design and application of tax inspection system, including case registrationmodule, inventory management module, data-mining module;The system will input the information of key trades, enterprises that make exceptionaldeclaration, and key tax payers so that we can ensure the scientific selection of inspectees andthe exclusion of tax payers who were selected before. In this way, the supervision andinspection become more efficient anf effective.
