The Study And Application Of Data Mining In Police Information System

China's public security authorities charge with crime prevention, public security maintaining, society management and service, and many other tasks. Public security information involves a wide range of business, and is complex with huge volume of data. Particularly with the implementation of "Golden Shield Project",the information construction of public security has developed rapidly.As a result,it has generated a great deal of public security business data. With the further development of information construction , Decision Support System (DSS ) has been put on the agenda while the traditional system of affairs processing can not be good for us to solve these problems.This paper, first of all, introduces the theory of data mining technique, which expands the use of this technology, improves the field of criminal analysis, and to a certain extent, promotes the information process. And then, this paper has drawn some valuable conclusions, providing a direction to the effective application of data mining technology research . The main topics are the following:(1) The data source analysis and data warehouse design.(2) Mining association on public security data with Apriori, then get frequent term. Obtaining association rule and conclusion that reflect the actual crime situation on the base of certain substaining degree, believable degree and fun degree.(3) Classify and mine public security data with 1D3 algorithm, then construct a crime decision tree, and get right crime analysis.(4) Design and realize public security information system, which involves data preparation module, data diging module and OLAP on-line analytical processing module.With this system, we can research and establish a data analysis model and system suitable for the investigation of the public security authorities, chage the backward situation which gets criminal investigation data by "human sea tactics", intelligently dig out some protentially useful data from vast criminal data, thus upgrade the efficiency and quality in mining case investigation data, promote the ability of detection, and enhance the ability for constructing a harmonious socialist society.
