Based on the analysis of the structure and function of architecture of compositeapplication library, the characteristics of CAL such as modularity is studied, the factoryautomation software of solar panel is designed and implemented.Firstly, this paper introduces the structure and function of factory automationsolution, studies in-depth of the features, design concept of CAL architecture and itscrucial role in factory automation solution, clearly know the significance of using theCAL architecture to design and implement the factory automation software. Throughthe creation of CAL architecture, two parts of the factory automation system aredesigned and implemented: services of manufacturing execution system and operablegraphics user interface. In section of MES services, the enterprise library is studied andextended, focuses on the design and implementation of MES services function module,logging module and exception handling module. In OGUI section, focuses on the designand implementation of product definition module and panel management module.Finally, the functional testing of the whole system is done, some test cases and itsresults for some modules are listed, and the development of the factory automationsystem is completed.
