Manufacturing execution system (MES) is not only an enterprise information system between the manufacturing planning system and the control systems, but also one of the most important technologies enabling information transformation. Traditionally, manufacturing execution system should be customized separately for each enterprise according to their specific requirements, which is lack of basic research. And the software developed is poor in general and lock of flexible. Especially, the research in effective integration between MES and other information systems is always weak. In view of all these, the article has put forward manufacturing execution system oriented to manufacturing enterprise solution and made a research on key technologies.In this article, the connotation, status quo and the problems unresolved of MES were discussed firstly. Subsequently, on the base of analyzing the function of each model composed with manufacturing enterprise solution, the key technologies such as architecture and function models were suggested for manufacturing execution system oriented to manufacturing enterprise solution. And then the designing process of manufacturing execution system oriented to manufacturing enterprise solution was studied. Next, the method for designing MES based on reconfigurable component was put forward, which can improve efficiency and reduce costs to develop MES. The results of practical application in an enterprise in Nanjing showed that the method is practicable. In addition, the article put forward the job shop scheduling oriented to manufacturing enterprise solution and studied the method, which is achieved the integrated model based on neural network and genetic algorithm. Finally, one examples was brought forward to show that the algorithm can integrate job shop scheduling with CAPP system effectively.
