The Research On The Constraints And Solution Of Rural Library’s Sustainable Devel Opent

"Rural library" project is a great cultural system organized by Chinese government departments. It has a quite important significance for strengthening rural ideological position, helping farmers get rich by science and technology, narrowing the urban-rural economic disparities and building a new socialist countryside. However, the construction of rural library project is still in the exploratory stage right now, there are many factors affecting the sustainable development of the rural library. How to push the construction of rural library to the right track,keep its sustainable developing and effectively solve the problems of sustainable development constraints is the eternal issue that needs rural library builders and research scholars to think hard and explore seriously.The author selected Wuyi Village, Meishan City, Sichuan Province as the representative of southern area of China and Xiajian village,Dandong City, Liaoning Province as the sample of the northern region. To analyse the development of the two rural libraries,the situation of reading, the awareness of farmers about the rural library and in all other aspects. To Sum up the similarities and differences on hindrance to development of the two rural libraries from reality, make a contrast, and get the common factors restricting sustainable development of rural library. Summarize the effective and corresponding countermeasures, thus contributing to the sustainable development of all the national rural libraries.After deep thinking, combined with the Professional knowledge, the use of scientific research methods, to find the existing constraints for rural library’s sustainable development summarize the solutions, as follows:strengthening the propaganda of the rural library, helping farmers to establish the correct values; improving the infrastructure construction, Implementing digital reform and increasing information dissemination capabilities; ameliorating the structure of all the books and integrating the resources, in order to optimize books configuration; exploring new management modes, selecting and training professional librarians; to unify the demands of library builders and the users; to get the pursuit of consistency of the content and demand; to extend the opening hours to ensure the communication of information; to confirm the input of the follow-up funding for the rural library.Hoping this thesis will supply the theoretical support and literature reference for the sustainable development of the project for the rural library and helps it play a certain role in boosting the development of the construction.
