Software College Office Platform Design Based On Workflow

Nowadays many problems such as more complex process in ShunDe School office work and poor cooperation ability among current systems appear in our daily work, so the teachers and students in ShunDe School need a platform which has integrated some useful applications and some current systems. Until now, it has been accumulated many documents, experiences, programs and rules in Software School, but these files are stored in the common file systems which can just store the information without the ability of knowledge management. The teachers need a platform on which they can share and search the information they want. On the other hand, the current systems use different access control models which will inevitably lead to not only administration problems but also some security leaks. Based on what has discussed I have designed and developed a ShunDe School Office Platform.Firstly, the necessity to develop the system of ShunDe School Office Platform is pointed out. Then, the requirement analysis is made from the aspects of process and function. The core processes include information seeing and tutor application, and the function requirements for different roles are made clear. On the basis of that, the workflow technique is applied to design a workflow engine which implements the core sub-system, which is applying for tutors. In the engine, the activities and states which consist of the sub-system are firstly defined, and then the main methods are called to examine the progress of activity, judge the condition which accords with the current activity, and run the next activity, thus achieving the sub-system. Last, the characteristics of system are summarized, the shortcomings are pointed out, and the system’s prospect is expected.
