MIS is very important to enterprises but traditional MIS can't meet the need of enterprises today. The models of organizations in enterprises are shifting from hierarchical and functional to process-centered, process often verifying and process becoming more and more complex, traditional MIS not supporting BPR.Workflow Technology, which can realize BPR, business process simulation analyzing, business process optimizing, and business process management and integration, is ultimately the core technology of business process automation Using Workflow method to model and analyze business process can standardize the business process in an enterprise and help to find out the unreasonable parts in the business process, furthermore, the new business process based on the model is a kind very important technology resource, which can help enterprise to implement the model of computer management information system. The business model of an enterprise, which is based on a clear analysis, can make it much more possible to implements of MIS. Workflow Technology is very significant for enterprises to promote management level, and to normalize and improve information automation.In this thesis, in order to complement the lack of traditional MIS systems and adopt the workflow technology, a workflow technology-based enterprise information management platform is designed and developed. It uses the advanced work flow technology, help to make the comprehensive enterprise management from the business processes perspective, and support the business process continuous improvement. The core idea is to provide a uniform model, implementation and monitoring of the environment for the intra-enterprise and inter-enterprises.
