The Research And Application Of Workflow Technology In Office Automation System

With the development of our national economy constructing steadily and realization of entering into WTO, it has become a continual thinking and groping question of some enterprises' leaders how to improve enterprise inner management level, reduce repeating labors, upgrade work efficiency and improve service standard. All these demand that we must introduce the bran-new information management means, perfect inner organizing structure, and information system and management flow in order to eliminate information isolated island and build up information management system in cooperating work. Therefore, Office Automation (OA) emerges as the times require.This paper describes the way to design and develop a suit of official automation for cooperation based on workflow technology. Firstly, this paper discusses the research reality of workflow, current research topic and existing question so as to put up with main research content and innovation of this paper. Secondly, we dissertate the current basis concept in workflow technology and put emphasis on the research of workflow management system. Thirdly, it has put forward an improved workflow model based on current model and describes the realization of graphical interface of workflow flow definition based on emphasis on VML. In the fourth part of this paper it describes the study and implement of workflow engine using this workflow model and emphases on the run process of workflow engineer. In the fifth, it describes the realization of official automation system based on workflow technology. At last, it summarizes the theory and application of the workflow and puts forward the trend of the research in the future.
