| In today’s society, the influence of media has spread to every corner of our society, economy and life. People explore the footprint of social development and changes through the "mirror" of the medium. The media records the reality where it continuously explores and creates as a character of an explorer of culture.This paper chooses the "Ruili" in China and "Fashion" in Russia as the research samples, because these two magazines both focus on young women in the City as the goal and are the mainstream media which transfers fashion information, exchanges emotions of women and leads the fashion of consumption. At the same time it ranks in the forefront in the field of sales, audience and influence.Recently more and more studies focus on media, fashion, women’s life style and other issues and the range of these studies are getting wider. The purpose of the paper is to compare and demonstrate the difference between Russian and Chinese women’s magazines. The author has three major advantages. Being the Russian citizen, woman and practices in Chinese media research can benefit the study. Grown up in the Russian culture background, than studied in China and had been concentrated in studying and researching on the media development strategy, the author is not only a Russian female citizen but also a new media who is growing up in Chinese media environment. Meanwhile, the author pays attention to the culture of China and Russia and follows with more interests in the development trend of the global media, standing in the angle of culture between China and Russian as a diversified identity. The author observes and analyses the media of two countries and it’s development for the purpose of completing this paper.Based on the evolution of the female image as the breakthrough point, through the study of the characteristics and changes of the female image, this paper explores factors that influence women’s value and ideology in different political systems, economic characteristics within culture background. Comparing ideological and cultural background of China and Russia the paper intend to analyze the differences of women image in the magazines. The paper hopes it can help people to understand the regularity and significance of transformation of the female image in different background and expect to make contribution to forecast and analysis the future female image from different culture background. In the operation of the market of China, Russia and global market, this study chooses to use the globalization and localization of the media business strategy. Also the paper has an intention to propose ideas to the future development of women media magazine both in China and Russia. |
