With the wave of information technology, global competition is increasingly fierce.The rapid development of computer applications technology, science and technology arechanging the traditional economic model and business operations,It is far-reachingimpact on the enterprise survival and development.Modern ship management focus on safety, environmental, economic, energy saving,downsizing, while the ship is quick development of large-scale, specialized, highlyautomated and intelligent, and its trends is mainly reflected in: management ofintegration of the ship and shore,the ship management, intelligent and enhance themonitoring of company ship management, management, ability to respond toemergencies, ensure safer voyage. In the need of the ship an increasingly modern,intelligent and fast-paced technology, must be able to change the traditionalmanagement model of the ship management, and use of existing computer technology,network technology and communication technology completely, enhance IT in shipmanagement the safety of the ship control, promote ship management, continue tostrengthen the management of the ship on the monitoring technology and supervise tocontrol of the ship’s equipment in good condition and the safety control of the ship,optimize the ship expand and operation of applications with the scientific method.This paper developed to provide a convenient and effective management model andseveral help for the management of the ship.The system will play an active role in thedevelopment of fishing vessels.Firstly,the paper introduced the theory and technology of ship managementinformation system management features for the ship industry and propose to buildsystem project based on GIS; Secondly, the overall analysis and design of the system,including research and analysis aspects of ship system current status, businessmanagement processes, the subject of sources of background, the user needs, and designthe conceptual structure and logical structure database combined with database theoryand ship production operating conditions with the study of systems analysis; Finally, wenot only designed the function of the system modules and program flow in detail,butalso developed the system with code writing and debugging completed successfully.
