Study And Design The VOD System In Campus LAN Of CUIT

With the development of computer and high-speed network technology, the video-on-deman system becomes true and there is enormous potential demand. VOD has become one of the most developing potential technology.It Integrates such technologies as communication, multimedia, computer, MIS and so on. This paper introduced a VOD system based on campus LAN of CUIT.This system can realize VOD based on local network, and the management of use information and video file by administrator. Intelligent video stream is used in the system, which cat adopt different transfer for different bandwidth and speed, can improve the video quality. An improved implementation of batching scheduling scheme used in this system can improve the service level. This paper also introduced the security measures that used in this system such as multiple level admission control scheme, verify code, IP address bounding and MD5 encrypt method. This paper also introduced the manage information system which designed for this VOD system. The last, it expounded the applied effect in education.
