System Design Of Fixed Assets Management Based On Database Technology

With more and more widespread and profound application of information technology used in hospital management, the implement of management information system has become mature in technology step by step. Managing information system is a new developing subject. Hospital needs existence and development and its activities should be organized efficiently and organically, which means strengthening the hospital management, i.e. effective management of all resources (staff, finance, property, etc.) in the hospital, and also establishing a management information system fitting its own works.This thesis designed a fixed assets management system for usual medical requirements under the environment of PowerBuilder with the strategy of overall plan by“Top-Bottom”and application and exploitation by“Bottom-Top”. A set of effective scheme for fixed assets was established for business through analyzing disadvantages of the drug store system. According to the needs of business increased the function expansion of fixed assets scrap, allocations, overage, shortage or the distribution of fixed assets in time and recipients.This thesis introduced in details the system analysis method of fixed assets management system. The system design part mainly focused on system function design and data base design. The system realization part provided several major program charts, together with the main windows and programs. The debugging and application results showed that the proposed system had explicit interface, simple operation. It is expected to extend it in hospital management filed, and provide quantitative support for the decision of leaders decision.
