Whether industrial or agricultural, even to space and scientific research field all need testmaterials. The quality of the materials needed severely affect the quality of the whole project.The testing mechanical properties of materials become more and more important problem.Electronic universal testing machine is loading test equipment to measured industrial materialsand other related areas of material. The current electronic universal test machine according tothe control mode of different can be divided into: The upper machine with embedded typelower machine testing machine, the upper machine with common single chip microcomputerlower machine testing machine, ordinary controller type testing machine without uppermachine. The latter testing machine as a traditional process is more and more difficult to meetthe testing machine industry requirements. To the testing machine, it is more accuratemeasurement requirements, controlling more flexible, so the application of microcomputercontrol is more and more big in the test market, the demand is also more and more. Embeddedmeasurement and control system based on computer and the center of application, because itssoftware can be cut and hardware can upgrade. Based on embedded motherboard withPC with electronic universal testing machine not only inherits the advantages, but also thehardware and software easier to upgrade and cut out. So the whole system will be moreconvenient for users to use. Not only the cost savings, and maintenance convenience for later. Ituses the technology in embedded microcontroller technology and expands the card testercontrol.This topic just as the measurement and control system of testing machine for thefoundation and based on displacement, the strength, the deformation signal as the researchobject and use embedded motherboard technology and expand single-chip microcomputer interface card for testing machine control applied research project. The main research topic taskis to design the PC software and the hardware and software based on PC104embeddedmotherboard part. Thesis mainly describes the following contents:1. At first this paper introduced the testing machine and testing machine measurement andcontrol system in the whole industry development in the current situation and future prospect. Itenumerate the existing respectively tester and its measurement and control system types andexpound the detailed description of PC104embedded Linux technology in the whole test.2. This paper makes a detailed to analysis of the testing machine measurement and controlsystem of the structure and the working principle and system encountered in the design ofseveral key problems and analyses the embedded system’s real-time and other importance oftechnology.3. Put forward the measurement and control system by upper and lower machine anddemonstrates that the advanced and the superiority. For strong real-time, test data proceedonline, effective test analysis, real-time rendering curve, realize the automatic control. I putsforward own a set of solutions and complete the whole system design. The upper machine ismade C++computer programming tools for development in the scheme in Windows.Summarized test enginery measurement and control system of the commonly used modularstructure based on Linux.4. Research and development of the measurement and control system test software designbased on Linux, include PC software design, the embedded environment, the designed ofhardware driving and the designed of serial interface communication.5. The paper detailed explains test machine measurement and control system in the actualapplication in the field of Wood deformation measurement, analyzes the advantages anddisadvantages of the application. On the analyzing of the whole the function of the system putforward own conclusions and the view of unsolved problems.
