With the rapid development of semiconductor IC industry,the test demand of integrated circuit is also improving.While there are few test platforms in domestic,which is Can't meet the demand of the development of chip.The key technologies are hard to obtain because of some tight blockades made by the large international testing companies.Therefore,we design a dedicated chip testing platform based on Linux system in order to test dedicated chips.The slave computer is based on Linux and we use C#,an object-oriented programming language,to write a set of visual GUI system.After taking overall design scheme and test methods into deep consideration,what the main study include as follows.The dedicated chip testing platform consists of three parts:test control layer,information transmission layer and test execution layer.(1)Test control layer:As the HQ of the whole system,test control layer,which is a bridge between the test platform and users and manages the process of testing,consists of test module and management module.The functions of test module are parameter setting,data analysis and concluding result.While the management module is responsible for collecting and processing tested chip and users' information.(2)Information transmission layer:Based on TCP/IP protocol,Its tasks are transfering test instructions and data and sending different instructions to different chips.According to various responses from chips,we ensure the safety and effectiveness of multiple test chips and obtain more information about every chip.(3)Test execution layer:The task of the test execution layer is to perform the specific test process which includes SIP tested chip,communication test module and bus test module.The communication test module tests Ethernet,serial port and wireless network card and the bus test module test dual port RAM and Can bus besides chip memory and Flash.Finally,a chip test platform with high stability and fast transmission rate is designed and implemented.Besides we accomplish several types testing and return information of current execution of tasks and their results in real time.It's not only convenient for users to choose the method for testing,but also give the platform high practical and market value.
