Along with the trend of globalization in-depth development and the globalizationof IT industry markets, fierce competition in the IT market environment has broughtunprecedented opportunities and challenges for many domestic IT companies. Manysmall and medium-sized IT companies have sprung up in recent years. However,either small and medium-sized IT companies or large IT companies have experienceddevelopment bottleneck in the effective implementation of the multiple projects,improvement of project management capacity, and improving the enterprise’s ownCMM level.This article has summarized the existing project management theory at home andabroad, and analyzed the project management status of the domestic IT companies. Itdraws on application of project management theory for many domestic IT companies.IT companies urgently need to establish an entire enterprise project managementinterface for the effective implementation of multiple project management, improvingproject management capabilities, and change it into a competitive advantage. That ITcompanies just simply to establish a project management platform is still not to solvethe bottleneck of the development of companies and the development of long-termproject management. From the corporate strategic objectives and strategic planning,IT companies have built the project management platform, thus refining this studytheme: construction of project management interface for IT companies.Through the theoretical analysis of strategic management, project management,multi-project management (program management and project portfolio management),project management maturity, the thesis also has analyzed project management of ITcompanies, including of IT companies environmental analysis of project management,IT enterprise project management features, analysis of match the IT enterprise projectmanagement and the implementation of strategic and analysis of building IT enterprise project management platform based on the enterprise strategic, includingproject management office, project management information system, projectmanagement culture, and project management organization.After project management platform has been built based on a strategicperspective, this article from the case analysis has described the use of IT enterpriseproject management platform based on the enterprise strategic in this paper. Thispaper has got first information about M company project management platform basedon enterprise strategic by the M company survey and communication, and with thetheory to build platform, this article has analyzed instances by using the M company’sproject management office, project management information systems, projectmanagement culture, project management organization.In the final conclusion and outlook of this paper, this study has summarized thefindings and conclusions of this paper, as well as the deficiencies identified in the casestudies, and make the outlook for future research of this thesis.In this thesis, the research has been not just focused on one or more projectmanagement issues and a temporary solution for project management of IT companies,but from an enterprise strategic point, this paper has analyzed the bottleneck in thedevelopment for IT enterprises project management. Through building projectmanagement platform based on an enterprise strategic point, the platform can helpenterprises to improve the entire enterprise project management capabilities.Project management based on strategic point can also help the enterprise to solve allthe items of the enterprise resource allocation and coordination, project managementknowledge sharing, project management methodology, project managementorganization, project management culture.
