Research On The Application Of Project Management In Micro IC Design Companies

IC industry,as the key industry of a country,is the base to promote social informatization.In China,Design industry,which represents IC industry,is mainly in small scale.Lacking whole project management is the main reason of long developing period and low success rate.Researching project management of these enterprises is crucial for the development of IC industry.In this paper,the writer takes representative company A as an example.Adopting related theories,combining the features of project development in application,it provides a proper suit of project management for mini IC designing enterprises with the help of examples.It first puts forward the process and features of IC designing project,and provides the project management application of new product design,project assessment,team building,project plan making,follow-up project implement and project closure.It leads in FMEA analyzing tool in project risk management and APQP program in quality management,finally using these improving measures in the developing process of later monitoring project.It presents measures such as adopting project management in IC developing project,making scientific plan,calculating completion probability with Project Software,promoting success rate by DOE.They are well used in cost cutting project,shortening the project cycle,inspiring the project management in mini IC designing enterprises.
