A Cmmi Level 5 Companies In The Software Project Management Practice

Delay, software bugs found by customer. These troubles occur frequently in software projects. How to resolve these problems? How to manage software projects?CMMI is a significant methodology of improving management capability.This paper analyses how to improve project management capability by using process management method, and analyses the project management system of corporation ASIAINFO, which is a CMMI5 corparation. The paper also make some complementary to it. In 2006, As a project manager in ASIAINFO, the author led a project named"FuJian UNICOM Business Support System". Then the project's data was selected to be a part of the evaluation files in CMMI5 certification. ASIAINFO got CMMI5 certification in January 2007In this project, the author introduced process management method from R&D department to service department for the first time. The project performace was improved significantly.The paper analyse the features of planning, controlling, closing processes in project management system of ASIAINFO, put forward a standard processes of BSS project, put forward a simplelized template of quatitilized process management planning. The paper also optimize a model of bug forcasting, and describe the team how to use it in FUJIAN BSS project, to monitoring the project, how to analised the common cause of testing process, how to improved the mean capability of test.
