This dissertation shows how to build a PCI-E high-speed data acquisition systemwith FPGA.With the knowledge of PCI-E bus specification and modularization idea,we realize PCI-E transaction module and hardware acquisition module using VerilogHDL on the chip of Virtex-5LX110T produced by Xilinx Inc.Then these two modulesalong with the data-receiving software are combined together as the high-speed dataacquisition system.The dissertation emphasizes particularly on the realization of PCI-E transactionmodule and raise a plan with FPGA.In this dissertation,the processes of PCI-Econfiguration,DMA transaction,IP Core setting are discussed in detail,then the testresults of transaction module under the circumstances of ChipScope,DebugView,andVS2005are listed.Finally,the high-speed data acquisition system is proved to be apractical and universal system.The high-speed data acquisition system introduced in this dissertation is put intoservice,and solves the data acquisition problems turned up in the project.Therealization method and verification strategy used in the system provide some referenceto designs of this kind,and a great many applications can be realized base on thissystem....
