Design And Realization Of Land&Resource System Based On WebGIS

With rapid development of telecommunication technology, internet and thepersonal computer become popular; the demand for people to obtain the geographyinformation through the internet is increasing. GIS geography information systemhas greatly facilitated the upgrade of social productivity. Issuing the geographyinformation at internet to provide data browse, search, edit and analysis functionsfor user, to this end achieve geography information online operating and mutualshare, it has become inevitable trend for GIS related industry.Land&resources association is an industry which needs to connect withgeography data. No matter is the investigation for land resources, cadastral, landusage planning and land construction approval, all those are work closely withgeography data. Take usage of GIS platform, and manage the geography data in areasonable and effective way has become important for land resourceInformationization work.The author in this paper has take the “Ganzhou land&resource geographyinformation system project” as an example which he has participated in, conduct aresearch on how to carry out the city land resources and geography data release onWebGIS, reviewed the business transaction, deal on the findings and analysisuser’s new demands in details, the conclusion is research a land&resource systembased on WebGIS containing the technical features of mutual operation, expansion,migration and cross-platform has great significance. After comprehensivecompared with several architecture models and develop tools of the WebGIS, apoint raised to develop the land resource geography information system in a wayof combining to use the ESRI ArcGIS Sever and J2EE platform. Technologycombination of Java and WebGIS can fully realize the advantage of JavaTechnology, it will make the land resource geography information system whichbased on WebGIS come into wider application. This paper has also discussed aboutthe key technology and innovation point related to this system, and describe therealization process and results targeting this system design plan, specifying theprocess of the other functional model like map display operation、geographydata analysis and objective search etc, showing parts of the screen shot.The actual results showed that Land&Resource GIS can achieve the desiredeffect, it has provided reliable data support for Land&Resources evaluation,planning, management, protection and proper use.
