The Situation And Development Strategy Of Township Television News Programs In Dongguan City

The basic television is China’s TV media terminal organization andthe component of radio and television system.Basic television stations in our country have their disadvantages.The channels have little resources, the broadcast is narrow and the lengthof the show is too short. News programs are the main bodies of the broadcast.Dongguan is a city that has no counties and no county television stations.But the Township televisions present a situation of prosperousdevelopment. Like most basic television stations in other places in ourcountry, Dongguan township television is weaker and more limited thanhigher class television stations.The reasons are:(1) they are showed only in the town;(2)They facethe competition of municipal, provincial or national television andoverseas TV stations;(3)Although they have certain security in operatingcapital, but they have disadvantages in technology, resources,management and system. In front of the practical difficulties, the onlyway for Dongguan township television stations to develop a way with localfeature, to survive in the fierce market competition and to initiate aown space is to run their own news programs well.This article found out some problems in Gongguan township TV newsprograms through the objective analysis of the current situation. Throughthe investigation and interview, the writer analyzed the reasons forproblems and tried to find out the future development direction ofTownship TV news programs.
