The Role Of Spokesman And Reporter Interactive Research

Press spokesperson system is the best form which authority releases authoritativeinformation timely and the basic measures to protect ‘the right to know’ of citizensand media, also attract much academic research focuses on the study. Media as abridge of communication between the government and the public, are willing to knowthe information used to get through spokesperson directly. Therefore, from thegovernment level, they must be adept at dealing with the form of a press conferencewith reporters. As an image of the government spokesman, at the press conferencescene, spokesperson’s effective interaction with reporters is an importantmanifestation of its duties to perform their own work.As the tasks undertaken by the two protagonists within the venue of press field,press spokesperson and reporter, the type and manner of interaction between them isthe main contents of this thesis. I try to analyze China’s current spokesperson for thepress conference with reporters in the interactive style, through the literature and caseanalysis, summary three different interactive types: the offense and defense relationsbetween the spokesperson and journalists, the confrontational relations, the tacitunderstanding relationship, and try to explain the each interaction types ofsegmentation. Meanwhile, based on the level of government management of valueconcern, I try to expand the perspective from the conference field to spread the impactof the type of interaction, not only the interpersonal analysis about spokesperson andreporter, and then analyze the relationship between the government and the media,spokesman and try to find the reason for different types of interaction betweenspokesperson and reporter. Finally, this thesis proposes the proper type, that theequality and cooperation of interactive style between the spokesperson and reporter,and through the disclosure of government information, government and media relations, emergencies press conference, analyze spokesperson and reporter toestablish a working relationship between the type of interaction necessarily.The innovative points in this thesis are as follows: first of all, researchperspective focused on press spokesperson and reporter as the government and mediaspokesman’s angle, and summarized covering a wide range of three interactiverelationship on the basis of the analysis. Secondly, presenting news spokesperson andreporter of the new working relationship from the understanding of government andmedia relations. Thirdly, cases are more up to date, these press conferences are mostlyattracting attention in2011&2012, attempting to provide some practical help in thepractical operation spokesman, reflecting the utility of this thesis.
