We are currently in an era of transition from print media to electronic media. Under this background, there isa trend of book initiating electronic. With the growing tendency, electronic books and related products beginemerging. As a new up and coming product in information age, electronic book has attracted more and moreattention. However, due to the limit against the previous reading habit of person, the interactive model has alreadysimulated the way which is designed for the original print media, so it lead to the limitation either of reading habitor reading interface design.To illustrate this in detail, we present a detail analysis of interaction model for electronic reading software.What is more, we propose difference between print reading and electronic reading. It is also indicated that currentelectronic reading interaction might be not suitable for us to get a desirable electronic reading based on theanalysis for both human’s reading requirement and reading dynamic status. Generally, because of change of thereading carrier, it is an imperative for changing the interaction of the electronic reading based on human’s readinghabit in corresponding with growing development of information technology. Under this kind of circumstance,this kind of interaction would be adaptive to requirement of information age. Throughput analysis, it proposed anew design concept of electronic book reading interface, and made a deeper analysis against the reading methodbased on this concept, and lastly presented a design mode of electronic reading interface.
