The Research In Reading Tendency Of Children Since 2000

In the 21st century, because of the development of economy go faster、join the WTO、reading markets is varies of many factors interaction, Compared to the past,the amount of reading is increasing in our citizens, from children’s books market, there are many species in this markets, develop from multiple channels, people recommend "reading" in society, at first children’s books sell well are reflected.In this paper, we use the OpenBook data as an example, By analyzing how the tendency to the domestic children’s reading in the new century, we attempt to provide a feasible solution for publishers andguided reading forchildren. This is the context of the article as follows:The first part of the paper explain the concept of the tendency for reading in brief; Then, the author give a definition about thetendency to children in many researchers about the definition of the concept of reading tendency,and analyze the behavior of reading will spread ideology and culture, it hasmany social functions, and give a brief summarize ontheoverallsituations and reading of kids.In the second part, we explain the reading tendency in different periods by analysis the reading situation and reading tendency of80’s、90’s in the last century and from the new century, elaborate the reading tendency in different periods step by step;The third part shows the children’s classes ranking of data from OpenBook company, since 2000 to 2014.7 in detail, and analysis what factors affect reading tendency from different views in the data;The fourth part introduce two children’s books——"window of the small Peas" and "Harry · Potter" seriesin a certain period, analyzing from the content characteristics and values,the author does the case studies, from case studies,we can see the tendency changes;The fifth part,explain the meaning of the digital reading in content and form,then introduced the changes in the content and form, indicating that the rise of digital publishing in the children’s reading, predict the traditional reading and the development trend of digital reading;In the last part,the article proposes to interpret the meaning of the tendency of children to read, and proposed some suggests when guiding children to read, such as on the integration of the development of related industries, original books and the introduction of copyright books.Reflections contest and other issues, to hold the trend of childrenreading,from the interpretation and reflection know these, eventually mastered the children’s reading tendenciessince 2000.
