This thesis presents the development of hotel managementsystem based on ASP.NET using C#.The paper discusses in detail the requirementsanalysis, systems analysis, brief design, detailed design and testing throughout thedevelopment process, and summarizes the experience in the development process andfuture improvements of this system.This paper first introduces the basics of ASP.NET-based hotel management system,focusing on the description of basic situation from the perspective of the practicalapplication. Then explains the analysis and modeling of the system, clarifies withemphasis the functional requirements of management system analysis for theASP.NET-based hotel. In addition, the design goals of the system, the use case diagramsfor system and other aspects are also described. The article emphasizes the introductionto the ASP.NET-based the hotel management system for three-tier framework structure,the system static structure diagrams, data analysis and database design.Then the articleputs emphasis on the implementation process of ASP.NET-based hotel managementsystem, including the implementation of database part: the Web. Config configuration,the access to the Connection objects, the relationship between the Command object andquery, as well as the implementation of the methods to obtain the data set by using aDataReader object.The design of the system page section introduces realization processfor a couple of the main pages, including design and implementation of home page,Room information page, the reservation/check-out page, statistics page and operatingconditions and so on.Finally, the paper also gives a specific design code and the pagedisplay.There are following main features of ASP.NET-based hotel management system:making use of ASP.NET technology, remote access to data, based on B/S (browser/ server) mode, in order to help the hotel to build a recipe database and sales databasestub to check easily.System development including hotel management business, theapplication of the system can manage the hotel rooms by using flexible and easilycomputer, which greatly improved the processing rate and more modern management.
