The Design And Implementation Of Hotel Information Management System

With the development of society and the improvement of people’s living standards, hotels have entered a rapid developent period. The increasing number of customers not only brings great benefit, but also many difficulties. How to manage hotels efficiently, especially analyze the customers’ information, has become an important factor on hotels’ success. At the same time, the development of the Internet and information technology makes the software system becoming the only choice of hotel management. Based on ASP.NET and SQL Server, this thesis presents the development of hotel management system.This paper first introduces the background, the significant of system development and the development status. According to the development process of system development, this paper represents the process of system implement for detail. The system is divided to three parts according to different kinds of system users, customer, receptionist and manager. Aiming at different properties of different kinds of people, we analysis their different needs. After the demand analysis, there follows the system design, including the overall architecture, function modules and database. After the system design, this paper represents the realization for detail. We not only represent several important interfaces, but the algorithm and codes behind those. At the end of this paper, we also did tests on the system to insure the normal operation of the system.In a word, this paper matches the needs of hotel management system well and realizes the automation of hotel information management. Customers can access the system through Internet, book a room and search relevant information. Proscenium and manager can also login the system to manage the hotel to varying degrees. All in all, the hotel management system not only realizes the automation of information management, but realizes the deep analysis of customer information through statistics technologies.
