The crafts design is a bridge to connect product design and manufacturing, CAPP (Computer Aided Process Planning) is an effective means to improve the efficiency of crafts design. The crafts process design is the transition part between product design and manufacturing. Its design efficiency and quality have a great impact on organization of production, product cost and quality control, productivity and production cycle. As an important link between product design and manufacturing, the crafts design is the first step to optimal allocation resources and preparatory production work. The traditional crafts process design use the manual operation, so it difficult to ensure the accuracy of the data and information share, so it has become the weak link in the product development. With the CAD/CAM technology become sophisticated, the CAPP system has become a general trend in crafts design, it can solve a lot of problems such as in design, in management, in integration, and so on. The CAPP system can achieve management improve, it also have a fully integrated with production crafts information when make with PDM and ERP, so the whole process in product design, crafts design and production management have a very good connect.Recently electronic products have become automation. Complex line bundle computing constraints further improve. But CAPP can solve the problem of efficiency and standardization well. Use the TH-CAPP platform and the Delphi7to develop the line bundle computing, development function modules, working interface, the overall design function of complex line bundle computing. The software system can response between system enter or the displayed line bundle calculation information with database table. The worker can edit the line bundle information, complete the line bundle calculation, query line number, material table generation, line table generation and so on in work interface, to meet the software design requirements. Through design the system user interface, the function of all modules in system can achieve. The results show that the system can achieve the functions of automatic production line bundle computing, improve production efficiency, and reduce production costs.
