Along with the development of science and technology, batching belt scale system hasbeen widely used in metallurgy, coal, chemical industry, building materials, and otherindustries. But most current batching and weighing system still use general PID controlalgorithm at present whose parameters are adjusted according to transition process time ofstep response and have high sensitivity. System of fixed parameters has good adjustmentquality,can realize error-free adjustment theoretically and has its real advantage within therange of small error.but its dynamic feature isn’t ideal and over-adjustment quantity isnormally large when the error is large. Therefore, the subject designing and developing a setof fuzzy PID algorithm based on the belt scale batching system, can improve the accuracy ofthe dynamic weighting, strengthen intelligent control function. Main contents of the paperinclude overall structure design of the system, establishment of mathematic model,researchon control algorithm and design of system hardware, software, etc.This paper mainly includes5parts to design the system.Taking a reference on a great deal of data both in Chinese and English,the paper firstgive a introduction to the status of development of batching belt scale,the main problems andthe subject of research content and meaning, and then components and operating principle ofthe batching belt scale.The second part introduces the principle and realization in hardware design of batchingbelt scale.In hardware design it makes ADuC845microcontroller as the core, completes thedesign which include weight signal input,speed signal input,the benchmark voltage produceunit,4~20mA current.digital output,LCD display andkeyboard interface, communicationunit, the power supply unit.The third part in combination of hardware circuit and control algorithm,this paperhas designed the software for batching belt scale,includes main function,systeminitialization,Fuzzy PID regulation,data processing and so on.The fourth part takes the cumulant of materials to be weighted by batching scale as thecontrolled objectand analyze advantages and disadvantages between PID control and fuzzy control.then the system describes the realization of fuzzy PID conbine control system indetailand applies both fuzzy control technology and traditional PID adjustment technology tobatching control.that is to say,experience on site technological process is established byanalysis of batching system,fuzzy control structure and algorithm of batching system is putforword according to fuzzy control principle,fuzzy PID combine controller is formed bymatching original PID control algorithm so as to improve control and adjustment effect ofelectronic belt scale baching system and to further increase batching accuracy and speed ofthe system.The last part through MATLAB simulation platform,it makes a comparison of traditionalPID control, fuzzy control and fuzzy-pid control. The results show that the fuzzy PID controlcan better adapt to the change of the controlled object, that fuzzy PID control has betterperformance than PID control and fuzzy control.Through this system, it can effectively solve control accuracy issue of belt scale, andfurther improve the weighing accuracy and batching speed of the system, greatly reducingproduction cost, improve the production efficiency and product quality.
