Synchronous belt is a new conveyor belt, with the mechanical design manufacturing and automotive production sector using, the demand of synchronous belt became increasingly urgent and the consumption increased. At the same time, the development accelerated rapidly.But those synchronous belts made from most of the manufacturers in domestic have unstable quality and short lifetime because of their crude production equipments and simple control method. The quality is much worse than that abroad. And among all the forms of invalidation of synchronous belt, the snapping of the whole belt body accounts for the most. Therefore, to improve the tensile strength of the synchronous belt, is the key to improve the quality of synchronous belt.In this paper, by analyzing the mathematics and dynamics of the synchronous belt unwinding system, the author analyzed the timing variable in the belt unwinding process and designed a constant tension control system based on fuzzy control algorithm. The system can exactly control the tightrope tension in the strong layers during the process of synchronous shaping in order to increase the intensity of tension of synchronous belt. The system takes the IPC as the control core,the tension sensor as the detection device, the data collecting card with PCI-1724U high-resolution and multichannel as the input device, output card with PCI-1724U isolated analogue as output device, magnetic powder brake as the implementing agencies. The system adjusts the current of the magnetic powder brake to adjust the tension of the tightrope during the process of synchronous shaping. And the author designed the constant current source drive circuit for the magnetic powder brake.In this paper, using graphical programming language LAB VIEW as the main simulation software, the author designed a constant tension simulation program of synchronous belt and the superior man-machine simulation interface based on Fuzzy control algorithm. Each time variables and tension were simulated. The simulation results show that the constant tension control system based on Fuzzy control theory is able to exert effective control over the tension of the synchronous belt unwinding process, reaching the desired effect.
