As the rising levels of industrialization and urbanization in our country, treatment and control of water pollution attract the attentions of society. Monitoring parameters of sewage water quality can be effectively obtained the detailed information of sewage and can provide effective evidence for operators to take reasonable control measures. At present, method of manual sampling and measuring in laboratory, off-line monitoring of using portable instruments and using monitoring system on-line to measure are the main approach to obtain information of sewage water quality. During these measures, no matter detecting in laboratory or using portable instruments, the problems of detecting time. detecting cost, service life of instruments and secondary pollution will be existed. To the monitoring system using at present, it can realize the function of monitoring on-line, but obtained data are only sent to display and aren’t effectively used. Besides, for signals are transmitted by medium, high investment cost doesn’t receive corresponding benefit.Based on the technologies of RF and SOPC. this paper designs a wireless data transmit system for monitoring water quality. With the use of RF and SOPC. not only issues of hard wiring, high routing cost, large interference and security risk will be solved, but also upgrades and hard networking of system will be achieved easier. As FPGA has strong capabilities, intelligent analysis of data can be carried out and is useful to strategies of real-time adjustment control. Therefore, it is an ideal monitoring system for low cost and good effect.In the system, parameters of dissolved oxygen, chemical oxygen demand. pH and electrical conductivity are chosen as the monitoring parameters. The whole design of system will be divided into control module and monitoring center module. In the control field, system will achieve the functions of data acquisition and wireless transmission. In the monitoring center, system will achieve functions of wireless data receiving, data intelligent analysis, display, communication and so on. Besides, a man-machine interface is designed based on the platform of Matlab for monitoring whole process in upper computer, in which functions of data receiving, real-time waveform display, storage and printing are gather in integral whole. With HMI. engineers and operators can automatically or manually take reasonable and sale control schemes according to the received data and the results of intelligent analysis. Eventually, system realizes wireless monitoring of sewage water quality, while the purposes of reducing cost and energy consumption are also achieved at the same time.
