The goal of safe production in petrochemical enterprises is alwayspursued. With the rapid development of information technology, securityeducation management system becomes a tool to strengthen the safetyawareness and increase the safety knowledge of workers. However, theecumenical education system tends to be customized for a certain enterprise,according to the difference of management system, information degree, andeducational content of a department. The education system also needs a lot ofchanges, in order to adapt to such changing needs. We need to develop anextended application platform with strong expansibility and easily adjustivebusiness logic.Under this demand, this paper designs a modular workflow model basedon OSGi, combining with the dynamic modularity characteristics of OSGi andadjustive business process characteristics of workflow system. The main ideaof the model is that the OSGi module and the executive activities ofworkflow can be transferred or invoked, and they can ensure that when themodule changes, it can notify the workflow systems to use the modularservice correctly. Based on this model design, the paper achieves the modular workflow framework based on OSGi-jBPM. Using jBPM as a workflowengine, the design of different layers in the model is realized, and theinteraction of the OSGi framework with jBPM and Web server are introducedparticularly. This framework can compart the duties of the system developersand business commissioner. It can make the business commissioner moreeasily use the module resources to realize the business processes. Finally, thesafety education platform of petrochemical enterprises is developed with thisframework, the modular design and exam process design of the platform areintroduced, and the general approach for system development and applicationusing this framework are summarized.
