Data acquisition system is widely used,Such as military, communications,aerospace, detection, and other fields. With increasing demands on the system,Acquisition system has become the mainstream direction of development in a high-speed, large capacity, high-resolution.Based on the requirements of a data acquisition system,the design method of theTop-Down is Used, The system is modular division. The design and method of dataacquisition and storage system based on FPGA is gave in this paper, then the design ofhardware and control logic circuit is also gave in this paper. The high-speed A/Dconverter is used to transform multi-channel data and the input signal is processedbefore sampling. Firstly, the single input is amplified. Lastly, the single input istransformed to the differential input. The Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) ischose as the core of the control of the entire system. The various components areconnected through FPGA and the control module of FPGA is used to achieve controland coordination of other devices. Compare with other commonly used memorydevices, FLASH Memory is used as a storage medium to achieve a large capacity andhigh-speed data access. The parallel processing and pipelining techniques are used inthis paper, in order to expand the storage capacity and improves the speed of dataaccess; The power supply is also an important part of the system, it is related with theaccuracy and performance of the system. For requirements of main components of thepower supply, we do a brief introduction to the power supply. Because the subsequentdata should be processed and analyzed, we design the USB and PCI interface toachieve communication with the host computer. Lastly we do a brief introduction tothe control system of the host computer, do the verification of the data acquisition andprocessing, and get satisfied results.
