UHF RFID technology is the hotspot of today’s technological development. It is widely adopted in inventory management, intelligent anti-counterfeiting, and transportation. Readers play a crucial role in RFID system, directly determining the application of RFID system in various industries. Modularization, small sizing, convenience, power saving, and long stand-by time is the future development direction of RFID reader. This project is set in the background of tracing PowerLeader server’s quality over its usage circle. Based on the Austrianmicrosystem AS3992RFID, this project aims to design a RFID reading module, which supports multi-standard1, quick reading and writing, distance reading and writing, multi-interface, fixed reader and portable RFID terminal.(1) This project will analyze the EPC Gen2standard under the framework of visiting and control protocol which UHF RFID reading and writing module follows.(2) The advantages and disadvantages of the mainstream foreign RFID modules will be analyzed. On the basis of this analysis, a new RFID module, which will based on Austrianmicrosystem RFID AS3992, and its peripheral circuit will be designed. The software design of UHF RFID will comply with the communication data format and decoding means of the EPC Gen2protocol. Investigate the PCB technique’s of UHF RFID. Design original layout, impedance matching and anti-interference mechanism and set up UHF RFID testing system.(3) Simulate the UHF RFID module in the transmission and acceptor circuit of Simulink.Finish and analyze the basic function testing of UHF RFID module, including tag reading and writing, anti-interference, anti-collision and power test.Make sure the module is suitable for the market.
