The RFID technology is more and more well known because of the rapid development of Internet of Things,.RFID technology can identify the electronic tags immediately by the radio frequency, and its Advantages are more obvious in case of identifying the moving objects. As we know,RFID technology has the advantages of reading quickly, Large data storage capacity etc, we can make sure that it will take a place in the application market.The UHF RFID reader system hardware is mainly composed of he reader, RFID tags and RF antenna. In recent years, RFID market is growing rapidly, and expanding the scope of application, more and more companies want to enter the field. Many foreign companies, such as Motorola, have already launched a serious of very mature RFID products. Although RFID reader market manufacturers have begun to take shape, but the problems of large size, high power consumption and high prices etc is still there. With the government’s emphasis on the networking industry, the domestic demand for RFID products is constantly increasing.By considering those questions and referring to a variety of automatic identification systems, this article will make a reasonable and feasible technology solution for the above problem.In this thesis, a UHF RFID reader core module will be designed as well as the software. The RFID reader core module has the advantages of miniaturization, low power consumption, a larger identification distance. The UHF RFID reader module can be used in the areas of security, access control, personnel management, livestock management, cargo tracing, mobile payment, warehouse inventory, logistics management.At first, this thesis studied and researched the development status and law of development of the UHF RFID technology, introduced the research background and research content. Secondly, by learning from related electronic design content and learned introducing the basic theory and RFID technology, this thesis analyzed the electromagnetic theory and related protocol, explained the UHF RFID systems in detail.Thirdly, this thesis designated the core chip based on market demand and contrasting the various parameters of different chips, and completed the solution of the core module reader hardware and software design. Then considering the hardwaretechnology solution and other information and drawing on relevant agreements,this thesis made the development process of the overall software and complete software system. Finally,debug hardware and software systems, record the results of statistical analysis. In this process, continuous commissioning, improving and optimizing the performance and design, this thesis completed the UHF RFID reader core module that comply with the requirement.
