The design and programming of the mining resources management informationsystem based on GIS technology was discussed in This Paper It is around theenvironment of “digital land” and “one sheet of map”,combined with mineralresources survey work of the mountain in the part of Xuzhou, Tongshan Land andResources Bureau. It is based on design and management of the spatial database andattributes database.The system is established to achieve the dynamic update of the information ofmining resources and mine geological environment, inquiry reserves of mineralresources, development and utilization status of information; combined with theplanning of mineral resources, the second land survey, land use planning and otherrelated planning, we can result to form a practical and usable thematic database;dynamic monitoring through statistical analysis, carry out the timely destruction of earlywarning of illegal mining and resources, achieve the forecast of geologicalenvironmental damage, and deal with ordinary course of business office automation andother functions.The system establishes the full-relational spatial database through the buildup andclassification and organization of data. It achieves the establishment of the spatialdatabase with Arc SDE+SQL Server, carries out the secondary development work ofthe mineral resource management system by Arc Engine ComGIS, using C#programming language. We studied the model of mineral resources management basedon GIS, so as to achieve the purpose of effective management information.
