Agricultural resources are the material basis for agricultural production activity, including natural resource and social resource that agricultural production activity refered to. This study takes the Quzhou County, Hebei Province as the study area, after the collection of land, weather, soil, and other economic resources of Quzhou County, Agricultural resource information system was developed based on ArcGIS Engine 9.2. This system which is based on data processing of agricultural resources and attaches importance to the prediction of the total cultivated land, establishes a information management system for agricultural resources. The system consists of six functions: the basic function, Land resources management function, Meteorological characteristics inquire function, Agrarian economy resource inquire function, Soil characteristics analysis function and Cultivated land prediction function. Agricultural resource information system is based on data processing, with information collection, analysis, processing, storage, export, transfer and other functions, aim to solve agricultural environmental issue. Software has a friendly man-machine interface, which is convenient for user to search, it also provides information supervising service to the Agricultural Office and finishes the task of integrated management and monitoring for agricultural resources data. This paper gave database design of system, the overall structure and functions of each module a detailed discussion and analysis.
