The Study On Integrated Model Of Open Access Resources For University Library

With the development of the Open Access movement, researchers are giving more and more attention to the development and utilization of open access, the practice of integration of open access resources flourishes at home and abroad, therefore there have been many integrated service platforms. At the same time, the university library is slightly less than in building their own integration platform, most of which is only links others service style to home page through the mode of introduction or links. The digital service occupies an increasingly important position in the network environment, open access services that designed to eliminate barriers to academic resource utilization, spreads also using the network environment, which is consistent with the concept of library information and resource sharing. Therefore, how to exploit the open access academic resources in network has become the responsibility can not be avoided for university library.On the basis of summing up the study of domestic and foreign scholars, first this article analyzes the meaning of open access and the format, which are Open Access Journals and Open Archives in two ways. Then this article analyzed the status from both theoretical and practical, and there are four integrated modes of open access resources, they are Institutional Repository, OA journals, the integration based on search engine and the integration based on digital resource management system. And further explore the technical problems such as open-source, search engines, Semantic Web and other key technical issues. On this basis, this article analyzed the ideas, objectives and levels of integration, given the integration process and the framework model that needs multi-faceted support such as laws, policies, institutions and technology. On the basis of empirical research and learning from the integration theory of digital resources, this article gives3integration model that University Library can be applied to, they are the integration based on storage, the integration based on user services, and knowledge integration model, and gives the logical framework of system development diagram, provides a theoretical foundation for the university library.In the empirical study, this article selects "211Project" university libraries as research object, investigated the situation and the integrated model through access the library website to obtain the original data. First the overall analysis reveals that the choice of integrated model is too scattered, and most libraries in a very low level; Again analyzed the47libraries that integrated effect in a better way, the model used by these are navigation mode and OPAC integrated model; The final, there is a case study to10deep integration libraries, showed that their use of integrated technology framework is different, and the small number of building a museum IR.Finally, the implementation strategy response to Open Access that should be taken by is that the University Library should select the appropriate integration strategies based on technical conditions and financial conditions, specifically including creating the information environment of Open Access; encouraging open access publishing; and technical training for librarian. The mainly specific implementation are these, building an open access navigation system in order to enhance the organizations of existing open sources; building a unified retrieval platform in order to achieve the deep integration of open sources and library resources; building the IR to achieve the overall management of the open sources. And University Library should pay particular attention to copyright, quality control and long-term preservation in the integration process.
