Recently, the literature resources in university increase rapidly. These resources include printed materials and digital ones. Also, the fact that there always exist different management systems for different resources causes great inconvenience to the readers. Therefore, it is necessary to develop a unified searching system through which the readers can easily get information from all the resources of the library."The library must provide the best services for readers" is a goal of the library world. How to integrate literature resources which increasing continuesly in library and provide a unified searching system for reders become an important subject research in the construction of university digital library. In this paper, a unified searching system which covers the information of printed materials in ILAS system and the digital resources of Apabi and SuperStar is introduced. Aiming at the present situation in the library of OUC ,two problems are mainly taken into account: (1) we introduce the system architecture to integrate the three systems. Since ILAS does not provide any interface for developers to access its database, we provide an immigration method to transfer the data of ILAS to our system and a searching interface for the data. For Apabi and SuperStar, on the contrary, we used the searching interface provide by the system to develop a unified searching portal;(2) we propose an ordering method which estimates the valuablity of each printed material according to its borrowing history. We also compare the number of books which are returned one or two days after being borrowed, when our system is used and not used. The result shows that the number decreases a lot after our system is used. So, our system improves the quality of service and gives great convenience to readers. Finally, concludes this paper by giving some future works.
