Design And Implementation Procurement Management And Supplier Evaluation System Of Vehicle Manufacturers Under JIT Environment

With the development of economy globalization, the competition increasingly fierce in the domestic automotive industry, automobile manufacturing companies are seeking ways to reduce production costs and improve corporate profits. In order to maximize profits, manufacturers turned their attention to the source of the automotive industry supply chain-procurement. With the popularity of JIT(Just In Time), manufacturers have begun to adopt JIT procurement instead of the traditional procurement, they also realize that the traditional manual procurement management can no longer meet the needs of enterprise development, the informatization and networking of procurement’s process is the best solution to solve the problem. While strengthening procurement management’s informatization, Choice of suppliers as Manufacturer’s partners and the the participants of procurement’s process is very important. To improve information sharing and information exchange between enterprises and their suppliers, supply chain system operates efficiently,to improve the service levels of suppliers, supplier’s evaluation has become a new business needs of the auto manufacturers. Therefore, in order to meet production needs and reduce production costs, strengthening corporate procurement’s management and supplier’s management is imperative.On the basis of the analysis of domestic procurement management and the current supplier evaluation, Procurement management system for vehicle manufacturers that using the JIT(Just In Time) conducts a comprehensive analysis. The first part in this paper introduces the current research of procurement’s management and supplier’s evaluation of the vehicle manufacturing industry,and introduces JIT purchase’s features and advantage.The paper analyses the procurement operations of the Shanghai XX vehicle manufacturers,then summarizes manufacturers’s business requirements of procurement and presents the overall solution of the procurement management and supplier evaluation system, and analysis four business processes in detail, from procurement planning and implementation to the evaluation of suppliers, delivery of goods,acceptance of goods, and it also completes the functional modeling.Based on the background of vehicle manufacturing industry,the second part in this paper analyses the considerable factors and implementation steps during the evaluation of suppliers,combined with JIT purchasing characteristics.It builds a set of suppliers evaluation index system for vehicle manufacturing industry vendors,then analyses and improves AHP and gray relational evaluation to establish an evaluation and decision-making model, and provides a numerical example. The end of this part on the basis of requirements analysis completes system design and implementation, including system architecture design, system function module design and database design, and ultimately achieves four modules of purchasing management and supplier evaluation system.
