Research On Procurement Management And Supplier Evaluation System Based On Azure

With the constantly emerging of new technology and new material,and all the enterprises face huge pressure. Integrate the supply chain andtransform the management idea, procurement management becomes aneffective way to improve business performance. Management of supplierevaluation is one of the most important aspects of procurementmanagement. Cloud computing is a new type of computing and servicemode. With some characters such as professionalism, efficiency,flexibility, etc, cloud computing can distribute resources dynamicallyacross systems. To solve the problems of the current procurementmanagement and supplier evaluation management system, the paper usesAzure (cloud computing) technology to construct procurementmanagement and supplier evaluation management system to integrateand manage the resources globally and to meet the rapidly changingcustomers’need.This paper consists five parts. The first part is the introduction, putforward the background, research purpose and significance and so on.The second part is the introduction of the development of cloudcomputing, and cloud computing technology introduction, describes thenetwork structure of cloud computing and hierarchical structure, andexpounds on the application of cloud computing are briefly. The thirdpart is the literature review, reviews the theory content, model andevaluation index of procurement management and supplier evaluationmanagement. The fourth part is the main part of this paper, it illustratesthe necessity and feasibility of the new management system which basedon Azure. The paper divides the system into four levels: application layer,platform layer, data layer and management infrastructure layer. Thefourth part describes the system in detail, includes the design of thesystem, model set, technology, system operating and interface diagram. For instance, the forth part illustrates the model set of informationmanagement, certified management, procurement management, contractmanagement, information tracking management etc.. the paper hasthree innovation points: the first one is based on gateway, the system canreduce the inefficiency effectively; the second one is the serviceconfiguration mechanism is independent with the windows azure cloudservice, it means the user can use azure tools to modify configuration; thethird one is there is a clear mapping between user account wwi and useraccount, it makes sure the system can provide many new services forglobal suppliers. The last part is the conclusion.
