The Change Of The Reports About Learn-from-lei Feng In Party’s Newspapers

Lei feng is most representative among the typical characters which set up after the founding of new China. From1963till now, the communication about learn-from-lei feng has went through about50years. Although there are highs and lows in the process of communication, the activities did not faded out from history, and reached a climax with the help of culture construction in2012.The reports about learn-from-lei feng in party’s newspapers can be considered as a typical sample. In order to understand these activities of the media from the whole package, it is very necessary to analyze these reports and organize the skeleton of the communication work. Based on these study work, the author found out the advantages and disadvantages of these reports, sum up lessons and drew the universal law from the specific work, hoping it will be useful for the media to improve their reports.The author selected People’s Daily which is very representative as object of study. Eventually, the author drew a law from these reports, analyzed the reason of their changes after surveying the frame of learn-from-lei feng reports which lasted for decades with the method of frame analysis. The author hopes that these finds will have certain significance. In the previous studies, there are some papers studied the diachronic changes of communication about learn-from-lei feng reports in party’s newspapers. However, these papers mainly focus on the changes of Lei Feng’s image and mainly use the qualitative description method. As a result, these papers are lack of objective data. On the contrary, this paper quantized the research object based on the content analysis and fully studied how the frame of learn-from-lei feng reports in party’s newspapers changes with the passage of time at a big span of time.
