As everyone knows, the news media has a powerful influence and capacity to intervene in the formation of public opinion. The tendency of the media in the selection and restructuring of information penetration, and clearly showing the view through the comments and other forms will have implications for the audience’s perception, judgment, feelings and opinions strongly. However, media reports of a news event, not passively reflect the whole picture of it, but take the initiative to use their framework to construct the event, allowing the audience to accept the concept of the media and law unwittingly.20:30, July23,2011, bound by the Beijing South Railway Station D301Electric Multiple Units run to the Shuangyu sections of the Yong-Wen line, and forward Hangzhou station bound for Fuzhou South Station D3115Electric Multiple Units rear-end accidents occurred, resulting in the derailment of the vehicles15,16of the D3115, and vehicles1to5of the D301. The accident caused40deaths,172injured, the suspension of train services32hours35minutes, and the direct economic losses amounting to193,716,500yuan.The accident caused the domestic media attention. However, as the same reports about the accident, media reports in the source of news material selection and reported tendency to have a different pass to the audience is not the same medium image. Media in China reports about the accident, how to select the information and report the news? What are the similarities and differences between the news framework of different media? What is the reason for these similarities and differences? To solve these problems, this study taking the frame theory as a guide, combinating literature analysis, content analysis and text analysis, selected the repots about the "7-23" Yong-Wen line particularly major rail accidents of the China Youth Daily and the Southern Metropolis Daily as a sample, analized and researched for the five aspects:the number of media reports, the news genre, the sources, the news topics and the reported keynote. The study found that in the media reports about the "7·23" Yong-Wen line particularly major rail accidents, although their respective framework have some similarity, the source, the news topics and the reported keynote have big difference, so the construction of the framework is not the same. The study also analized the reason of the different media framework, and summarized some of the shortcomings of itself.
