With the improvement and progress of science and technology, computer scienceis increasingly mature and perfect, its powerful information processing function hadprofoundly known by the people, it has entered human society in all domains and isplaying more and more important role in these domains.And then, as a part ofcomputer applications, we use computer to manage personnel information has theincomparable advantages of manual administration. For example, searching quickly,lookup conveniently, high reliability, great capacity, good secrecy, long life span, andlow cost etc. These merits can enormously enhance the efficiency of the personnel filemanagement, at the same time,it is also the important symbol of an enterprise’sscientific and standardization of the management. As a worker in tourism department,I’m responsible for the personnel and file management in the institution and itssubordinate tourism companies. The tourism company of Liaoyang city manages thepersonnel file through artificial way for a long time, however it has many shortcomings,such as: low efficiency and bad secrecy. It will produce massive documents and dataover time, which is difficult for searching, updating, and maintaining files. How tocombine my knowledge with the problems in actual work is an important subjectbefore me. Based on the above situation, establishing a management system ofpersonnel files, to make the personnel files management of the company become morestandardized, systemically and pragmatically, makes the work of searching andamending staff personnel files more timely, accurately and effectively is imperative.This paper combined with the existing personnel and financial system of the tourismcompany of Liaoyang city, after analyzed the actual demand, using Visual Basic6.0asa development tool, which is a visualization of high-level programming languagerunning under the Windows workbench, adopting ADO and SQL programmingdeveloped the stand-alone version of the personnel management system. The entire system from the requirements of operating easily and interface friendly, flexible,practical, and safe, to completed the whole process of personnel and financial control.Including the amendment, query, and statistics of staff information, related informationstatistic, etc., personnel file management, along with additional payments of newstaff‘s pay, old staffs’ salaries amendments, etc., pay management work caused byestablishment of new staff’s personnel file, old staff’s exit, other staff post changes,etc., This dissertation mainly introduced the development background of this project,the functions to be finished and the process of development. It emphatically points outthe designing points, designing thoughts, difficult techniques and solutions of thesystem. Fundamentally changes the traditional way that from the paper static state tounderstand staff in the past, meanwhile, avoids the repetition of the same informationinput by departments, reduces repeated labor to achieve information resources sharing,to further promote the enterprise information modernization management, and tofurther improve the work efficiency of the staff has important meanings and practicalvalues. After the analysis of feasibility and demand, and the actual operationcertification, the personnel management system designed can satisfy all aspects of needof the business enterprise personal management.
