| RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) is a non-contact technology to obtain information and data from electronic tags. In accordance with the frequency division, RFID technology can be divided as LF, HF, UHF and microwave.After a long period of research, RFID technology is widely used in a variety of industries such as production, logistics and commodity security authentication. Because of its frequency, LF and HF limits its range of application; Microwave band of the RFID technology is not yet mature enough. So UHF RFID technology has a wide range of market value. Because of the analysis above, with long-term research and experimentation, this article aimed at developing a software system of UHF handheld RFID reader.First, this article describes the current situation of the RFID technology, combined with the development of the Internet of things (IOT) to discuss the application of RFID technology and its problems, then analyses its market prospects, introduces background of this article and organizational structure.Second, this article describes the composition and technical characteristics of the UHF RFID reader systems and its system platforms, including the selections of hardware platform and software platform and embedded software platform structures and transplantation of operating systems.Third, is the core module control program design, starting from requirements and functional analysis, divided the definition of the workflow and functional sub-modules, as well as communication protocols and data structures, then discuss to achieve for the modules one by one.Fourth, is the interactive user interface (GUI) program and the host computer (PC) program, also, starting from requirements and functional analysis, divided into serveral functional sub-modules, then discuss to achieve for the modules one by one.Finally, is the reader system testing and reader software tests and analysis of the test result, conclusions and outlook. |
