Designing And Implementation Of Hand-held Terminals For Currencies In-out Of Storage

According to the business requirement of the Chinese bank and commercial banks and the current era of development, the transfer process of currencies in-out of storage was carefully explored and analyzed. Then in order to solve the shortcomings of currencies in-out of storage, such as the complex process steps, the error-prone of manual operations, the short of identification distance, the insufficient of automatization and informatization, a hand-held terminals for currencies in-out of storage was designed. The Samsung S3C6410 was used to construct the hardware and the Android system was chosen as a software platform. Using the RFID and UHF technology, the handsets can collect the information of near(less than 10 centimeters) and far(less than 10 meters) distant money bags or money box. The Wi Fi and 3G were used to transmit real-time data to the information management system of the People’s Bank and the sub-branch banks. The data can be stored and further analyzed, so this system can be conductive to information sharing among banks and can maximize the management efficiency in the process of money in-out of storage. A handheld terminal for currencies in-out of storage implements the remote batch scanning and uploading of the money boxes information in the process the money in-out of storage, not only achieving the seamlessly of the terminal and the central information management system, but also supporting the local queries and the remote access the information of the central information management system. With the use of the terminal, on one hand, it can realize the automatization and informatization of information recording of the currencies in-out of storage, reducing the mistakes of currencies in-out of storage, improving the work efficiency and saving cost; On the other hand, it can ensure the safety of the currency.
