With the continuous improvement of science and technology, logistics industry hasbecome the main force of the modern transportation industry. Logistics industry has achievedthe whole process of plan, implementation and management from the origin of the materialsto commodity consumption. The logistics plays an important role in the moderntransportation construction because of the presentation and application of the logisticsconcept in today’s highly developed science and technology. Because of the logistics ofgoods amount is huge and unable to understand the logistics distribution in the process ofcommodity information, it is easy to produce logistics goods lost or damaged problems due toimproper operation. Therefore it is badly in need of a real-time detection of logistics of goodsinformation system in the logistics industry.With the advent of the new century, electronic the rapid development of informationtechnology gives birth to great development prospects of radio frequency identification(RFID) technology. Therefore, the application of radio frequency identification (RFID)technology has become possible in the logistics industry. User management and logisticspersonnel can grasp and understand the logistics of goods status information in real time.Firstly, by reading a lot of related literature to understand RFID technology developmentstatus at home and abroad, for domestic logistics industry in the presence of common defects,proposed one kind based on the RFID technology of the hand-held reader design. Accordingto the technical features of RFID, combined the embedded reader platform with ARM920T asthe core and RFID radio frequency identification technology, designed a portable hand-heldreader platform of embedded system. And on this basis, the system is divided into severalmodules, each module has the hardware circuit design and software programming.Secondly, according to the needs of the logistics industry, make use of the original RFIDlocation technology, RFID positioning algorithm is applied to goods location of logistics.However, the traditional positioning algorithm is easily affected by the non line of sight andthe interference of electromagnetic wave and the influence of environmental factors, it willcause the positioning precision is not high. To solve this problem, the paper proposes animproved positioning algorithm based on LANDMARK system, and the improvedlocalization algorithm test.Finally, combined the designed the hand-held reader and logistics goods positioningsystem, make out of fixed reader constraint in the premise of logistics goods positioningsystem to try not to cut the positioning accuracy. So that it can in the logistics of goods at anytime information acquisition and recording in a logistics goods distribution station, in order toachieve the purpose of convenient management.At the same time, according to the problems and inadequacy found in the process ofdesign and experiment, put forward to perfect and improvement direction.
