In recent years, embedded technology developped quickly with the development of large-scale integrated circuit, and it play an important role in industrial control, intelligent control, medical, electronic and other aspects. In recent years, embedded products used in health care area increased fast. Embedded in the medical research to promote the development of health care has an important significance.Image acquisition in the medical profession has been basically in the mature stage, but in dental equipment, dental image acquisition means of X-ray device to generate the film. Highly respected dentist and certainly this approach because of the advantages of technology is mature, stable process. However, this method is not only a waste of resources, but also not easy to see the image exactly and not easy to save. This design uses the ARM processor design, image acquisition equipment, and real-time acquisition of images on the display can be displayed, and image-related processing. This is not only resolve the existing problems, and better application of embedded advanced technology to the dental equipment. Doctors handheld devices through the operation of this dentist patient teeth image capture, and the pictures do the corresponding zoom images, to facilitate better viewing condition. For a better understanding of the patient’s dental status and make better treatment has practical significance.The main contents of the paper include the design of the U-boot, Linux migration, file system mount and software implementation. Hardware used QQ2440development board as a hardware device, the processor of the QQ2440is the S3C2440, It have a TFT LCD touch screen. The software part mainly introduces the rewriting of the U-boot and transplantation, cutting and transplantation of the Linux kernel and file system mount and drive and software to write a few parts. CCD professional equipment to capture the image data of the teeth, and then the data transmission to the processor, the processor by processing the image data displayed on the touch screen. By operating the touch screen, the doctor will be able to to do the appropriate processing of the picture.
